Blueprints For Outside Playset Lack Of Information On The Byzantine Empire?

Lack of information on the Byzantine Empire? - blueprints for outside playset

Why are so often mentioned in the literature and the history of the Byzantine Empire, thus providing little context? I mean, he came from Rome, there are a lot of file it is, is not it?

You hear a lot about Bynzantium and Byzantine politics, but there are very few books on the history of pound as politically incorrect, political positions, fashion, palaces (only found 1 of the 3D representation of famous Byzantine palace of Constantinople, which has been the seat of the Byzantine Emperor 800 years served.

On the other hand, a variety of books, graphic novels, has illustrations and all, at all levels, from kindergarten to university, the history of Rome, Roman life, Roman Art, Roman architecture. I know it's the Western influence, but there is nothing else than the history of Byzantium books in the school?

And illustrations of its architecture, palaces planes? The documentation for your lifestyle? Does anyone know any resources?

Just because the Byzantine Empire, only a limited impact on the development of the West (namely, Western Europe and the U.S. had) culture - the same way as we have learned a lot about the cultures of great importance and diversity of China and India, for example.

I am from Greece and Byzantine influence is still here, and we learned during our training as well.

My favorite books are those on Byzantium by John Julius Norwich wrote (see link below), the very instructive and informative without being dry as dust.

Bearsstirring Maybe you should keep the answer and use it as a forum to rail against Mel Gibson. Gibson has concluded unfair treatment by a policeman, would have thought of his mouth must have (which was later rejected by the Sheriff)
The Byzintine is one of the most durable empires in history, the support from the fifth century until its destruction by the Turks in 1600.
I wonder if the U.S. will take so long.

Westerners do not feel a connection with the Byzantine Empire, the paintings a strange creature Turkinsh Asia, Middle East, the ignorance and racism, but it's true - - - and the current inhabitants of Istanbul, do not feel no connection to a emptre destroyed. Unfortunately, there are some good books, yes, but not nearly as far as Rome.
What we need is an intelligent writer as a work of fiction that a permanent historical iinterest generate the Byzantine Empire developed. But in reality, perhaps as a Pagan Jews should not think, but the story of Constantine is a success inevitably Chrstian Perhaps Mel Gibson could redeem himself with a moving portrait of Constantine.

Today it is fashionable to make such a "sensitive" topics such as the fact that all of Turkey and the Middle East, was a Christian country for centuries before the Muslim invasion.
Note also that Byzantium was against Rome in the affairs of the Church of Rome, influenced Western Europe, while the Byzantines went to Ukraine, Russia and Greece.
After the collapse of the (Roman Empire), Byzantium had virtually no impact on these areas that have little place in its history has pounds.

OTOH you're right. It is strange that we learn more about Egypt and the pharaohs of Byzantium.
